Parris O'Loughlin-Hoste, a prominent influencer on the UK’s urban music scene, started out as a blogger at 16, contributing to publications including Jamal Edwards' SBTV, before graduating into a role as press assistant at Sony Music in 2014.

After joining Sony’s Columbia imprint as an intern, O'Loughlin-Hoste took over the UK urban roster at the both Columbia and RCA Records, and at the age of 25, was promoted to Senior Urban Artist Manager at RCA, where she runs campaigns for artists including SZA, G Eazy, NAO, Avelino, Jidenna, Yungen, Lady Leshurr and Fredo. Recognised as an influential voice in the UK’s fast-growing music scene, O'Loughlin-Hoste recently joined former BBC Radio presenter Semtex to co-host Spotify’s original podcast Who We Be TALKS_; a weekly show exploring the ‘music and lifestyle that surrounds [hip-hop and grime] culture’. Speaking to Music Week, she explained her ambitions, claiming ‘I want to shift and impact the culture of black music in the UK by taking it to a global scale with the artists I’m working with. I want to carve my own path so I’m eventually in a position where I can sign, develop, and use innovation to promote UK artists and culture globally’.
